MONDAY INSPIRATIONS: “shart at mile 98” ??? — Aaron Braunstein

Registered for: Christmas in July 24 Hour Solo
Past Finishes: 2015
Total Miles: 49.6 Miles

R4W: How long have you been running and what got you into it?
Aaron: I’ve been running for 13 years. I got into the marathon + ultra distance running in 2005 when I received a flyer in the mail for team in training and the upcoming LaSalle bank Chicago marathon. Been into it ever since.

R4W: How do you stay motivated when you don’t want to run?
Aaron: I remind myself of my goals and force myself out there.

R4W: What animal would best describe your running form?
Aaron: A wolf. I’m not the fastest out there but I can go for a long time.

R4W: What has been the funniest thing that has happened to you preparing for, during, or after a run?
Aaron: Not terribly funny at the time, but a shart at mile 98 of yeti 100 mile last year. With two miles ago, it definitely gave me more incentive to finish faster and hit the bathroom for some cleanup.

R4W: What’s the last running-related video or movie you watched?
Aaron: Gary Robbins’ account of the Barkley “where dreams go to die.”
